23 December 2013. – EASD Belgrade Participatory Round table on balancing of the environment, social and economic dimensions of sustainable development. Two parallel processes in developing SDGs and outcomes were discussed : The Future we Want and Green Economy Path. The outreach of participatory discussion lead to position that:
- Sustainable Use of Natural Resources
- Sustainable Production
- Sustainable Consumption
- Climate Change
- Biodiversity
should be priority for nested with social and economic development in order to assure equal footing of environmental priorities within SDGs architecture.
The outreach will be presented on May Eco-Summit, planned on May 10 in Belgrade, Serbia, as well as at EnE14-ENV.net Regional Conference, June 5, 2014 in Belgrade, Serbia.
